Guiding Principles And Values
What Makes LAANG Special
One of our Legal Aid and Action group’s most unique features is our module-based approach while working with each cohort. Through it, we will segmentalise and put prominence in all the areas that require attention.
We also aim to have specific project heads for each cohort we work with. We hope to receive their expertise and guidance while working on the said projects.
We also intend to collaborate with organisations who are already working with our target cohort.
We will also focus on online awareness along with on-ground initiatives to make the change more holistic.
After providing with necessary legal aid, we also aim to follow up with the cohort members to keep track of the progress made and provide further guidance if required.
We also aim to publish a comprehensive magazine on the different as well as Central Government Schemes, State Government Schemes, Social Welfare Programmes, and Skill Development Programmes and Initiatives to make the general public aware of them.

LAAAG Assistance Mails and Phone Calls (LAMP)

In order to assist those who have difficulties in accessing legal aid, we aim to provide cursory guidance and direction with respect to applicable laws, statutes and enactments along with trying our best to connect them to practitioners who can take up their cause, keeping in mind the state machinery providing for legal assistance, including NALSA and State specific legal services authorities. This is our attempt to help spread awareness about the efforts of the state to make justice accessible to all.
