Good Governance week
Every year, 25th December is observed as Good Governance Day which is the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. This day was first celebrated in 2014 to honor Mr. Vajpayee's contribution and celebrate his vision of spreading awareness on accountability of the Government. To live up to the spirit of the Good Governance Day, this day is observed as a working day for the government.

National Youth Day 2021
On the occasion of National Youth Day commemorating the 158th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on Tuesday, 12 January 2021, the Youth for Good Governance Foundation (YfGG) organized an all-day event comprising online as well as offline activities to celebrate the spirit of active citizenship and participatory democracy, the tenets of which were preached by Swami Vivekananda.
National Voter's Day
On the occasion of National Voters’ Day on 25 January 2021, the Youth for Good Governance Foundation (YfGG) conducted a virtual event. There was an oath-taking ceremony and an interactive session with Ms. Tannisha Avarrsekar who is the Founder, CEO, and the Editor-in-Chief of Lokatantra. The session was based on the theme, "Solutions to Gerontocracy: Enhance Voter Registrations and Youth Participations" and was moderated by Ms. Nisha Harish, who is one of the core team members of YfGG.
Voter Access Program 2021
Fundamental ideas of Good Governance is each one of us should cast their democratic rights during election. Presently India is experiencing a round of elections in five poll bound states. But in the present structure migrant people has no scope for exercising their voting rights. In this context YFGG initiate Voter Access Program where different stakeholders like academicians, researchers, journalists etc. can have a larger overview on the said issue.
